MINERAL RESOURCES TASMANIA

Mineral Resources Tasmania (MRT) is a Division of Tasmania’s Department of State Growth and is the pre-eminent geoscience organization for the State. DR CHRIS YEATS

Dr Yeats is an ore deposit geologist and geochemist, and executive leader with 30 years’ experience in precious and base metal exploration and research in terranes ranging in age from the Archaean to modern active seafloor hydrothermal systems. He has extensive experience in both project and capability leadership. In mid- 2015, Chris joined the Geological Survey of NSW as Executive Director and has driven a transformation of GSNSW’s precompetitive geoscience acquisition and delivery.

Dr Yeats is an associate collaborating with HarLin Consulting particularly on Government sector projects.
